Weekday Mom wardrobe (Warm fall edition)

It’s been a warmer-than-average October and cool temperatures have been playing peek-a-boo with us. Do you like it or not? Honestly I am dreaming of lower temperatures. I like to be able to wear a jacket without sweating or my boots, especially my over the knee boots which are my love!

However, life keeps going and the kids need to be outside so I just find something to wear and off I go.

These are 5 outfits I’ve been wearing lately.

..and remember: Sometimes I overdress, others I look like crap. Sometimes I really like how I look, others not so much.

Chic loungewear ALWAYS

Top: Mono B (sold out but love the details on this one, its gorgeous) I Pants: Gap (similar) I Shoes: Reebook Originals, Necklace: Emery and Opal (my kids initials engraved)

Thoughts on this look: Joggers are for me what leggings are for others. When I need something fast I reach for a pair of joggers, tee or sweater and a moto jacket. I’d say that’s my drop off uniform in fall. I always get slim fitting joggers that have some special details, like zippers.  I’ve also been getting nice fleece tops for the colder months ahead. I found these on Amazon from Mono B brand. I have their leggings (really good and inexpensive, you’ll see them a few pics below) and like them a lot so I didn’t think it twice to get some tops.

Tank top, mom jeans and cute sandals (plus baby)

The top you can’t see: AE Mesh tank I Levi’s Wedgie Jeans (identical for less) I Shoes: Soludos

Thoughts on this look: Whenever the temperatures go below 80 degrees I get my jeans out. I pair them with a light top cami or tank if hot. These sandals are already put away for next year. As a person from a cold city sandals are not my thing. My last accessory is my baby. I love baby wearing, even more as a second time mom. This is a Baby K’tan wrap and I love how easy it is to use.

Light pullover + Jeans and ankle boots

Top: BP Pullover (same brand similar) I Jeans: Frame Split Hem I Shoes: Sam Edelman Petty ankle boots

Thoughts on this look: I love the split hem jeans. They provide a both cool stylish factor to an everyday look. I got these Frame during the anniversary sale (only way I could have gotten them). Since I know that price is not something most people pay I rounded up some split hem jeans below.

Leggings and cropped hoodies for the park

Top: Abercrombie hoodie I Pants: Mono B I Shoes: Reebook originals

Thoughts on this look: A little confession. I’m not a fan of the legging + tunic look for me. So I usually go for boxy crop tops. I like the mix of fitted and boxy. Sometimes I’ll tie another sweater around my waist to cover more. Another reason I like them cropped is because it’s nursing friendly. Not a lot of fabric to pull up.

Monochromatic look with dirt! #momlife

Jacket: Blank NYC I Top: Abercrombie tank (similar) I Jeans: Hudson I Shoes: Converse Dainty OX

Thoughts on this look: I’m making up for the three years I didn’t wear white jeans because of #momlife. There’s no reason to shy away from things you love because of the kids. I may not wear silk or heels all the time but if something is washable why not get it dirty? Went to the park like this and my crawler got all dirty so when I lift him up his little feet got me all dirty. On other note this is how I like to wear white in fall: with light grey to create a “monochromatic” look.

Which look was you favorite? Seriously! I would love to know!
